Mi-17 IV Helicopters Shower Flower Petals on Republic Day Celebrations

Four Mi-17 IV helicopters from the 105 Helicopter Unit graced the 75th Republic Day celebrations at Kartavya Path in the national capital by showering flower petals on the audience. Flying in a ‘spearhead’ formation, the helicopters were led by Wing Commander AV Agashe, the Commanding Officer of the 105 Helicopter Unit. The trooping of the national flag and military flags added to the grandeur of the event.

Prime Minister Modi Extends Republic Day Greetings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes on the 75th Republic Day, stating, “Best wishes on the special occasion of the 75th Republic Day. Jai Hind!” The celebrations marked the journey of Amrit Kaal, commencing after the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence.

Republic Day Parade Highlights Cultural Diversity and Military Prowess

The Republic Day parade showcased India’s cultural diversity, military prowess, and the strength of Nari Shakti (women power). With the themes ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat – Loktantra ki Matruka,’ the event featured an all-women Tri-Service contingent, women pilots in the Indian Air Force’s fly-past, and diverse cultural performances.
