BHOPAL, JUNE 10, 2026 [VoM News]: A major twist has unfolded in Madhya Pradesh politics after the government decided to withdraw the long-standing two-child restriction, marking a significant policy shift. The restriction linked to government jobs, if withdrawn, could impact thousands of aspirants and serving employees across the state.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has directed the General Administration Department to remove provisions from the draft Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Rules. The provision disqualifies individuals with more than two living children from government employment.
