Kunal Kemmu Cautionary Take on Alpha Male Portrayals

In a recent interview on Raj Shamani’s YouTube channel, Kunal Kemmu expressed his thoughts on the portrayal of alpha male heroes in films like Animal. The actor questioned the practicality of adopting such traits in real life, suggesting that following the ‘selective alpha’ image could lead to dire consequences.

Real-life Ramifications of ‘Selective Alpha’ Traits

Kunal Kemmu emphasized that attempting to embody the characteristics depicted in films such as Kabir Singh and Animal might result in physical harm and legal consequences. He advised against blindly imitating these traits, stating, “Isko sahi-galat bol ke fayda nahi hai, kyuki aap ek human tendency aur trait ki baat kar rahe ho…” (There’s no point in terming it as right or wrong. You are talking about a human tendency and trait…).

Kunal Kemmu’s Reaction to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal

While discussing Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal, Kunal shared his visceral reaction, admitting that the cinematic experience even provoked in him the desire to physically confront someone. He attributed this emotional response to the powerful impact of cinema, which has the ability to evoke intense feelings.

Becoming the Alpha in the True Sense

Kunal Kemmu encouraged individuals to embrace the concept of being an alpha in the true sense, cautioning against adopting a ‘selective alpha’ approach. He challenged viewers to either fully commit to the alpha persona or pursue a more balanced life, suggesting that merely picking and choosing traits could lead to negative outcomes such as legal issues or physical altercations.

In conclusion, Kunal Kemmu’s take on alpha male portrayals in films underscores the potential real-life repercussions of blindly emulating such characters. His advice encourages a thoughtful approach to the influence of cinema, advocating for a genuine understanding of alpha traits rather than a superficial and potentially harmful imitation.
