
JK Govt Transfers JKAS & IAS Officers in Key Administrative Reshuffle
Jammu, Feb 15 – The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of two senior officers, as per Government Order No. 233-JK(GAD) of 2025, issued by the General Administration Department.
According to the order, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza (JKAS), Registrar of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, has been transferred and will await further assignment in the General Administration Department. He has been relieved of his current duties with immediate effect.

Additionally, Abhishek Sharma (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, has been given additional charge as Registrar of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, alongside his existing responsibilities, until further notice.
The transfer order was issued with the approval of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and was signed by M. Raju (IAS), Commissioner/Secretary to the Government.
