India to be Naxalism-Free in Next Three Years Under PM Modi’s Leadership: India
Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed confidence that India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be completely free of the Naxalism problem in the next three years.
Speaking at the 60th Raising Day of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) in Tezpur, Assam, Shah praised the bravery of SSB in fighting against Naxalism, stating that alongside CRPF and BSF, SSB has brought the Naxal movement to an edge.
He highlighted SSB’s role in protecting borders with Nepal and Bhutan, as well as their contributions in combating Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
The government released a postal stamp on the occasion of SSB’s 60th Raising Day. Shah emphasized the government’s commitment to the welfare of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
The SSB, established in 1963, has played a crucial role in protecting India’s borders.
