A fire incident occurred within an ITBP camp situated on the outskirts of Srinagar city on Saturday evening, according to officials. The fire broke out specifically in a tin shed located in the Pantha Chowk area, designated for storing equipment and clothes, as stated by the officials.

The inferno, suspected to have originated from an electrical short-circuit, swiftly consumed the 100 by 50 feet tin shed, leading to its complete destruction, they reported. Personnel from the Fire and Emergency Services, police, and ITBP collaborated to bring the fire under control. Multiple fire engines were deployed to extinguish the flames effectively.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved, as confirmed by the officials.
