EUROVISION 2026: Which contestants gained the most followers, views & streams? (Data Analysis)

After the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, we have updated the numbers for followers, views & streams of this year’s contestants and compared them to the numbers we collected prior to the start of the competition to find out who won on social media.

HIGHLIGHTS

• DARA (Bulgaria) – the Eurovision 2026 winner – led the social media surge across multiple platforms during Eurovision week. Bangaranga gained 2,221,027 new YouTube views on its official music video (+154.28%), the biggest percentage increase of any contestant. On TikTok, she led raw follower growth with 103,552 new followers gained, and her TikTok likes grew by 1,182,270 (+27.20%). On Spotify, Bangaranga picked up 1,814,361 new streams (+56.66%), the second biggest raw gain from the 2026 contestants. On Instagram, DARA gained 284,396 new followers (+59.12%), more than any other act, a surge that pushed her total following to 765,000 followers, translating to estimated earnings of £5,980 (= €7,042)  per potential sponsored post based on the industry standard of $10 per 1,000 followers. 
• Alexandra Căpitănescu (Romania), who finished 3rd, had the highest Instagram follower increase percentage-wise at +163.83%.
• Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen (Finland), who finished 6th, gained the most Spotify streams between 11–18/5 with Liekinheitin gaining 2,304,490 streams.
• SIMÓN (Armenia), who did not qualify for the Grand Final, had the highest Spotify stream increase percentage-wise with Paloma Rumba at +56.18%.
• LAVINA (Serbia), who finished 17th, had the highest TikTok followers increase percentage-wise at +195.08%.
• ALICJA (Poland), who finished 12th, gained the most new TikTok likes between 11–18/5 with 1,956,122 likes gained across her videos.
• LAVINA (Serbia) had the highest TikTok likes increase percentage-wise at +280.33%.
• DARA (Bulgaria) also dominated YouTube likes during Eurovision week, with Bangaranga gaining 27,881 new likes (+101.25%) between 11–18 May, more than any other contestant and the only act to more than double their YouTube likes during the contest week.
• Noam Bettan (Israel), who finished 2nd, gained the most new YouTube comments between 11–18 May with Michelle picking up 1,857 new comments, while DARA (Bulgaria) was close behind with Bangaranga gaining 1,775 comments (+88.66%) – the highest percentage increase of any contestant.
