DC Comics Movies to Stream on Tubi in the US

Tubi, Fox’s ad-supported streaming platform, has inked a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, set to bring a range of DC Comics movies to its catalogue next year in the US. This collaboration introduces ten new WB-branded Fast channels on Tubi, granting users convenient access to DC films and series without the need for a subscription to pricier streaming services like HBO Max, though the content will include ads.

The lineup spans from classic titles like Batman and Superman to newer releases such as The Batman, Wonder Woman, Black Adam, Aquaman, and more slated for 2024.

Tubi’s Chief Content Officer, Adam Lewinson, highlighted the significance of this move in expanding the platform’s offerings, expressing excitement about partnering with Warner Bros.

Discovery to bring the superhero franchise films and series to Tubi’s engaged viewers. The catalogue also features acclaimed shows like Batwoman and Gotham, alongside the beloved Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman series arriving on December 31.

While the newer DC movies are set to arrive on Tubi, there might be a delay between their theatrical release and their availability on the platform.

Animated movies such as Batman: Death in the Family and Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox, live-action films like Constantine starring Keanu Reeves, and series such as The CW’s Swamp Thing and Stargirl will also join Tubi’s content slate soon.

Additionally, Tubi is set to become a platform for Warner Bros. Content, encompassing various genres like classic cinema, travel, romance, horror, and popular movies such as Annabelle, Doctor Sleep, and the Friday trilogy.

These changes follow a major restructure within DC Universe, signaling a new phase under DC Studios helmed by James Gunn and Peter Safran.

Their focus is on reviving and reshaping the future of DC films, TV shows, and animated series. Superman: Legacy, featuring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult, is expected to spearhead this new wave of content.

As of now, there’s no official word on when the DC Comics and Warner Bros. catalogue will be available on Tubi India.
