
‘Begging’ for Deal, ‘One Shot’ Could End Remaining Leadership: President Trump’s Remarks on Iran
WASHINGTON, July 5 [VoM News]: Amid the ongoing funeral ceremony for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, President Donald Trump made the shocking remarks on Iran claiming the Tehran is “begging” for a deal and that negotiations have been paused until the funeral concludes.
He made the remarks while seaking at a public event. He further added that the United States could eliminate Iran’s remaining leadership “with one shot” but claimed it would not do so because there would be “nobody left” to negotiate with.
He also asserted that both sides had agreed to suspend talks until the completion of Khamenei’s funeral ceremonies.
So far, Iran has not immediately confirmed Trump’s claims regarding the status of negotiations.
Meanwhile, Iran has launched nationwide funeral events for Khamenei, who was killed in an airstrike at the beginning of the recent conflict.
Thousands of mourners gathered in Tehran for the opening ceremonies, with final rites scheduled to continue until July 9.
