The chief minister also inspected the blast site at the popular eatery in Whitefield area and discussed the incident with reporters. Dr. Pradeep Kumar, the Medical Director of Brookfield Hospital, reported positive developments in the patients’ conditions. Despite challenges, he highlighted the overall improvement and psychological support provided to boost confidence.
Strong Criticism from Former CM Basavraj Bommai
Meanwhile, former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavraj Bommai criticized the Congress, alleging that anti-national elements receive support from ruling party leaders. He expressed concerns about law and order, citing a decline in police morale and corruption in police transfers. Bommai called for the case to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and urged the government to take decisive action.
Bommai emphasized the need to address the situation promptly, connecting the incident to terrorist elements and calling for a thorough investigation by the NIA. He criticized what he perceived as appeasement politics, urging the government to act decisively or step down.
