Accident in Doda; 5 Injured

Doda, June 02, 2026 [VoM News]: In the evening hours theday, a Maruti Suzuki car bearing registration number JK02BX-7086 met with an accident near Gandoh Market in Doda district on Tuesday evening, resulting in five injuries.

According to an accident report issued by the Office of the Block Medical Officer Gandoh, the accident occurred at around 4:30 PM while the vehicle was travelling from Gowari to Gandoh.

The injured have been identified as Faheem Ahmed (19), Adnan Ahmed (20), Faizan Ahmed (18), Suhail Ahmed (19), and Owais Ahmed (18).

Hospital staff from CHC Gandoh, along with the civil administration, immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to CHC Gandoh for first aid and medical treatment. All the injured were later referred to Government Medical College Doda for specialised treatment and further evaluation.
