She claimed that her mother, the former Chief Minister, was subjected to what she described as near-manhandling by security forces when she attempted to engage in a peaceful protest in support of Palestine. Iltija underscored the official position of the Indian government, which condemns Israel’s aggression and has voiced concerns about Israel’s actions in violating humanitarian international law while interrupting medical and electricity supplies. She questioned why the local administration appears to be selectively targeting the PDP.
