Jammu Police Solved A Theft Case in Arnia; Accused arrested

Jammu: A written complaint was lodged at Police Station Arnia by one Poonam Devi W/O Naresh Kumar R/O Malley-de-kothey stating therein that some unknown person has stolen one 12 bore double barrel gun from her house .

Acting on this complaint, a case FIR No. 23/2025 U/S 331(4)/305 BNS was registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation entrusted to SI HarjinderPal Singh under the supervision of SHO Arnia Inspector Dilawar Kumar.

During the course of investigation,on the basis of human and tech int,police team of Police Station Arnia rounded up one suspect who upon sustained questioning confessed his involvement in the instant case. The arrested accused has been identified as Rahul Chandail @ Salute Maar S/o Ramesh Lal R/o Allah,Arnia.

On the disclosure of the said accused person,police team succeeded in recovering the stolen Double barrel 12 bore gun.

Further investigation of the case is going on.

The case has been solved under the supervision of SHO Police Station Arnia ,SDPO RS Pura and under the overall supervision of SP Hqrs Jammu.

General public has applauded the efforts and prompt action by the Arnia Police.
