Doda: Lecturer Of GHSS Bhaderwah Held For Alluring The Minor Girl Student

A Lecturer of Govt. Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah was held for Alluring and demanding sexual favours from a minor girl student by threatening to make her fail in the internal examinations of the School.

While giving details, a police spokesperson has said that on 16-04-2025 a Complaint was received in PS Bhaderwah against a Lecturer namely Dr. Waris Sheikh presently posted at Govt. Girls Higher Sec. School Bhaderwah for molesting and sexually abusing a minor girl studying in class 12th and demanding sexual favour by putting her in pressure for failing in the internal examination.

It was further stated in the complaint that the above mentioned accused with his lust and sexual desires, approached minor girl by giving her assurance of making her admission in medical course at Punjab in a College.

The accused was also sending incriminating whatsApp messages seeking sexual favours by referring that he had already done the same with other girls also and without sexual favour she can’t secure her admission in the course. Besides threatened the girl that if she narrates the same to any family members, she will never pass the examination.

Doda Police in Bhaderwah detains 4 vagrants, Sent To Jail

Accordingly, on the receipt of this information, case FIR No. 54/2025 U/S 74 / 75/ 78 BNS and 9/10/11/12 POCSO with 67 (a) IT act stands registered at PS Bhaderwah and the above named accused has been arrested. Further investigation of case is going on.
