
Amarnath Yatra; High Level Delegation From MHA to Visit Jammu Kashmir
Jammu, June 17, 2026 [VoM News]: For the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, a high-level delegation from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) will visit Jammu and Kashmir on June 20 and 21 to review the
security and logistical preparations.
The delegation will be led by Union Home Secretary, Govind Mohan accompained by Intelligence Bureau, CRPF, BSF, SSB and other central security agencies will assess the arrangements made for the 57-day annual pilgrimage.
Sources also say that meeting could be held in Jammu and kashmir and the discussions will focus on security deployment, coordination mechanisms and overall preparedness for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.

high-level meeting evaluate readiness for the Yatra. LG Manoj Sinha, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Home Secretary Govind Mohan and other senior officials made their presence.
