MOTHI MARMAT, Doda – April 11: In a moment of profound grief for the people of Doda, Haji Nazir Ahmed Razdan, one of the most respected dignitaries of Mothi Marmat, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of wisdom, humility, and community service.
Haji Nazir Ahmed Razdan was not just a revered elder but a guiding light for the people of his village and surrounding areas. Known for his noble character and selfless contributions, he held a special place in the hearts of all who knew him. His passing marks the end of an era for Marmat.
Described by locals as a man of deep faith, compassion, and integrity, Haji Sahib was often sought after for his advice and mediation in matters both personal and communal. His calm demeanor, spiritual insight, and tireless commitment to social welfare made him a pillar of the community.
“This is a great loss, not only to his family but to the entire Doda region,” said a community leader. “Haji Nazir Ahmed Razdan was a dignitary in the truest sense—respected by all, regardless of age, background, or belief.”
A large number of mourners gathered in Mothi Marmat to offer their final respects. Funeral prayers would be held at residence at sharp 11:00 a.m. tomoorow.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” — Verily, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
As the community mourns this irreplaceable loss, tributes continue to pour in from across the region. Haji Nazir Ahmed Razdan’s legacy of kindness, leadership, and unwavering moral values will be remembered for generations to come.
