
Janipur Police Crack Broad Daylight Theft Case, Arrest Accused and Recover Stolen Goods
Jammu, 24 March 2025: In a swift and decisive action, the Janipur Police Station has solved a daring broad daylight theft case, arresting the accused persons and recovering a significant portion of the stolen goods.
On March 7, 2025, a complaint was lodged by Amarjeet Kour, a resident of Pandoka Colony, Janipur, regarding a theft at her residence. The thieves had stolen valuable gold items, including a kitty set, chain with pendant, topas, kade, rings, and cash worth ₹3 lakhs.
Acting promptly on the complaint, a team from Janipur Police Station, led by SDPO City West, SHO Janipur and SI Baldev Sharma and others swung into action. Utilizing technical and human intelligence and conducting meticulous investigations, the team successfully tracked down the accused persons and apprehended them.
During the investigation, the police recovered a substantial portion of the stolen gold items and seized the scooty used by the thieves. The accused persons are currently in police custody, and further investigations are underway.

It is also requested to general public not to keep valuables like gold and cash in your house and use the facility of lockers available at Banks. General public is also awared not to keep much cash in your saving accounts as most of the cyber frauds also take place in saving accounts.
