
One killed, One Injured in a road accident in Kishtwar
The day started with an unfortunate news, where a camper vehicle bearing registeration number JK16B 6907, met with an accident in Jammu Kashmir’s kishtwar district.
The accident took place nearly at around 3:00 am as per sources. As a result, one person has lost his life identified as Ashish Kumar, who hails from Kawa Village of kishtwar’s Bunjwah, and one person Sonu Kumar, son of Kuldeep Kumar from Drabshalla got injured.
The injured one was shifted Government Medical College (GMC) Doda from CHC Thathri for better aid.
The deceased was working as was the night shift in-charge supervisor of dumpers at the Rattle (HEP) Project, whereas the injured one was working as a timekeeper in the HR department of the said project.
As the vehicle is involved with the Megha company ongoing construction work at Rattle Hydroelectric Power Project, the locals have raised serious concerns of road safety issues, environment impact taking the demand of accountability to a higher level.
