
JK Government Issues Final Seniority List for Handloom Training Officers
Jammu, January 31, 2015 – The Industries and Commerce Department of the Jammu and Kashmir government has released the final seniority list for Handloom Training Officers (HTO) of the Handicrafts & Handloom Department, J&K, as per Government Order No. 16-JK(IND) of 2025.
According to the order, a tentative seniority list was previously notified on October 16, 2024, inviting objections from employees. However, as no objections were received within the stipulated period, the final seniority list as of January 1, 2024, has now been approved.
The final seniority list is now official and is meant for information and reference for all concerned employees of the J&K Handloom Development Department (Non-Gazetted) Service.

The list remains subject to the final outcome of pending court cases, if any.
The dates of birth recorded against the officials in the list are not considered authentic and will require verification from service books, matriculation certificates, or other official records.
The government has directed the Director of Information, J&K, to publish this notice in two leading newspapers in Jammu and Srinagar to ensure awareness among concerned employees.
