Former VDG member found dead in Udhampur’s Latti area; Case Registered, investigation underway

A sad news came into Insight from Udhampur’s Latti area, where a body of a VDG member was found in Chapper, Latti area of district. As per officials, dead body was found in mysterious conditions in forest area of Udhampur.

SSP Udhampur, Amod Nagpure, the body of VDG gaurd, Ashok was found far away from his house in Chapper, Leti area. He was hit by a bullet, but it is not yet confirmed whether he shot himself or someone else shot him.

He added, body has been shifted to hospital for post-mortem. Furtherly, police has registered a case in this regard, and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the cause of death.
