DC Doda Reviews NTEP Staff Contract Extensions for TB Control Program
DODA, OCTOBER 25: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, in his role as Chairman of the District TB Control Society, led an essential review meeting on extending contracts for staff under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) until March 31, 2025.
Joined by senior health officials from Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban, including CMOs, District TB Officers, and specialists from GMC Doda, the meeting addressed critical aspects of TB control, focusing on staffing needs, resource allocation, and program monitoring.
DC Harvinder Singh emphasized unified efforts to eradicate TB, urging timely processing of extensions in line with NTEP guidelines.
Key discussions covered TB testing rates, laboratory infrastructure, and management success rates, with a commitment to overcoming challenges and advancing towards the district’s TB eradication goals.
