
Two separate road accidents in India have caused injuries to dozens and resulted in fatalities.
Accidents in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu Leave Several Injured and Seven Dead
A road accident near Wana village in the Lakhtar taluka of Gujarat has left around 40 people injured. The accident occurred when a state bus traveling from Deodar to Junagadh overturned. Out of the 55 to 60 passengers on the bus, 40 sustained injuries, with two of them critically injured. The injured individuals have been transported to the hospital, and further details are awaited.
Fatal Collision in Tamil Nadu
In another tragic incident, a car collided with a truck in Chengam, Thiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu, leading to the deaths of seven people. The police arrived at the scene promptly, and the injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. An investigation is ongoing, with Chengam Police registering a case.
These road accidents serve as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for continued efforts to reduce accidents and fatalities on India’s roads.
