
GDC Doda remains at the top of the Podium among Colleges at Sangam 2023
Doda, October 11:
Govt. Degree College Doda Principal Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal while interaction with the media congratulated the winners of Sangam Festival Bhaderwah 2023.
GDC Doda finished with a tally of 16 medals, college notched up top position among Colleges and bags over all second position, while as Jammu University retains top position at the podium of this mega festival.
On the occasion, Principal Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal applauded the strenuous efforts of the Physical Director Dr.Arjun Singh, and other members of the Sports Committee. Prof. Satish Kumar Convenor Cultural Committee and Prof. Anita Kotwal, Dr. Jamsheed Ahmed, Dr. Jagmohan Sharma and Prof. Zain Bandey for their enduring efforts throughout the preparation period.

The College finished at the podium in multiple events, Kho kho girls (Runner up), Kabaddi (Runner Up), Cross Country Boys (Ist and 2nd position), Long Jump Silver medal, Discuss Throw Boys Silver Medal, Discuss Throw Girls Bronze medal, 100 meter and 200 meter Boys Silver, 100 meter girls bronze medal, 100×4 relay race Silver medal, Solo dance Ist Position, Folk Dance 2nd position, Skit Second Position, Poster making 3rd Position and Debate competition Second Position.
The other faculty members that grace the occasion were Dr. Akhtar Hussain, Dr. Tasir Sharief, Prof. Syed Kazim and Prof. Amit Kumar, Dr. Imran Assad.
