
Multi-Departmental District Level Task Force Committee Doda finalises DMFT annual action plan & AVSAR plan

Multi-Departmental District Level Task Force Committee Doda today met in the DC office here to discuss the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) Annual Action Plan in terms of the Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojna (PMKKKY), under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan. The Committee also discussed the district AVSAR plan under Mission Youth.
During the meeting, CPO Doda presented the detailed report regarding responses/ requirements from institutions/ departments of the directly affected and indirectly affected areas with high priority and other priority sectors around the approved and alloted mining areas.It was decided in the meeting that the available funds shall be utilised in purchasing TRUENAT machines to detect and diagnose the Tuberculosis among the suspected population within the 5-Kilometer radius of the mining blocks, for their proper care and treatment.

Committee decided to procure one Advanced Life Support Ambulance out of the available funds to upgrade the health care facilities for the affected population near mining blocks.It was further decided that some reputed online teaching firms/ agencies shall be hired to provide online satellite classes to the students of the remote Government Higher Secondary Schools of the district in order to ensure accessibility of quality education to every student in the district.
Some of the part of the available funds was decided to utilise to improve the sanitation in the government schools in and around the mining areas.Under the AVSAR plan of the district, under Mission Youth, it was decided that 100 students of the district shall be shortlisted to undergo three months coaching here, for NEET, JEE, and other such competitive examinations, for which the expert faculty shall be arranged to give the high-end knowledge and expertise to the students to crack the competitive examinations.
Notable attendees in the meeting include the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agricultural Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, District Information Officer, District Mineral Officer, Chief Education Officer, and Accounts Officer of DC Office Doda.
