District RAC Doda approves 16, defers 05 cases

    District RAC Doda approves 16, defers 05 cases

    Doda, October 09:

    The District Rent Assessment Committee (RAC), which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, approved 16 rent cases out of the 21 submitted cases, before committee. 05 cases were deferred due to some deficiencies of required documents and absence of competent officers in the meeting. Revenue Officers have been instructed to attach revenue extracts with the title verification of each property to be assessed for the rent. Intending departments were asked to present required documents before the committee on the next date, in respect of those cases deferred today.

    The rent cases which were discussed in the commettee and approved were pertaining to various Government Departments which include Police, HP&M, Fire and Emergency Services, Social Welfare, Health, Handloom, Indian Army, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, GMC Doda, DUDA, and ISM (AYUSH).

    The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district. The chairman asked intending departments to submit the case with the rent agreement duly issued by Judicial/ Executive Magistrates only.

    The meeting was attended by CPO Doda Suresh Kumar, ACR Doda Sanjeev Kumar, SP Headquater Doda Shakeel Batt, SE PWD R.P Gupta, CMO Doda Dr Hamid Zargar, AD Planning GMC Doda, District Officer HP&M, CAO, DSWO, ADMO ISM, CAHO Doda, PO DUDA and other concerned officials.
