A research conducted by Banking Methods identified the stocks and cryptocurrencies that experienced the most significant price increases. The highest prices recorded each year were analyzed and compared against the current prices to assess the overall growth. The ranking was then created based on the percentage change in price, offering a clear measure of how each investment has performed over time.

Nvidia tops the list of the best-performing investments with a 180% rise in the post-COVID period. The price of Nvidia’s shares increased from $293 in 2021 to $822 in 2024. Even with all the talk around cryptocurrencies, Nvidia stands out as an investment option with the highest ROI.

BAE Systems is the 2nd on the list of the best-performing investments. The company, focusing on defense and information security, saw its stock price climb by 116.76%. This increase shows the growing demand for defense and security.

Ranking 3rd, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has also shown notable growth in stock price. From a low of $335, it grew to $502, achieving a 49.50% increase. This rise makes it an appealing choice for tech investors.

The real estate sector in Dubai ranks 4th, showing significant investment potential. With property prices increasing from $2,812 in 2021 to $4,026 in 2024 per square meter, a 43.16% rise was seen. This growth shows Dubai’s thriving economy, making it an attractive option for real estate investors.

Another leader in aerospace and defense – General Dynamics, is 5th on the list of the best-performing investments. It has demonstrated steady growth, increasing by 31.98%. This sector, known for its resilience and long-term growth prospects, is a great investment option.

Its stock price increasing from $329 to $415, Microsoft has shown substantial growth marking a 26.05% difference. Microsoft’s consistent innovation makes it an ever-growing tech industry, worth investing in.

Gold, a timeless investment, secures 7th position on the list in our times of economic uncertainty. From $1,798 to $2,250 in 2024, gold has seen a 25.08% increase in its price, showing its stability regardless of market fluctuations. 

Ranking 8th, Northrop Grumman is yet another aerospace and defense company on the list of best investment options. Its stock price increased by 18.58% during post-COVID period, which reflects the consistent demand for security and defense products.

Another leading name in the defense sector, Lockheed Martin has shown steady growth with its stock price having increased by 17.45%. This growth illustrates the defense sector’s key role in global security and aerospace. 

AeroVironment rounds off the list of the best-performing investments with an 8.86% increase in its stock price. While this growth is lower compared to others on the list, AeroVironment represents an investment in cutting-edge technology and the growing drone industry.
