In a bid to enhance electoral awareness and participation, the District Administration in Doda organized a Special Voter Enrollment and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Program. Spearheaded by District Election Officer Doda, Harvinder Singh, the initiative aimed to engage the community in understanding the importance of their voting rights and active involvement in the democratic process.

The event commenced with a vibrant rally from the DC office complex, attracting a diverse crowd of students and local residents. Led by District Election Officer Doda, the procession culminated at the old bus stand in Doda, where a captivating nukad natak titled “Loktantra Ka Asli Mantra” unfolded. Directed by Neeraj Kant and scripted by Balwant Thakur, the performance delved into the core principles of democracy while emphasizing the significance of voting.
The theatrical presentation garnered widespread attention, drawing audiences from surrounding areas and inspiring students to actively participate in the democratic process. Through creative storytelling and compelling performances, the District Administration sought to instill a sense of civic duty and underscored the impact of every vote in shaping the nation’s future.
