Second Round of Training for Presiding Officers and Polling Officers Commences in Kishtwar
Kishtwar 07 April 2024: In the run-up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the second round of training for Presiding Officers (POs) and Polling Officers 1 commenced today in district Kishtwar under the close supervision of the District Election Office Kishtwar.
The training program was conducted under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, and the close supervision of AROs of 3 ACs at 6 designated Centers.Approximately 810 POs and Polling Officers (P1) received hands-on training today by District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) under the guidance of NLMT, ECI/Training Incharge Riaz Ahmed Butt.
Emphasis was placed on the polling staff to understand and adhere to rules and regulations diligently and to perform their duties with utmost dedication, zeal, and zest.Furthermore, there was emphasis on maintaining mutual cooperation and support during the election process to ensure the success of these elections.
Thrust was placed on learning and strictly adhering to timeliness.During the program, Master Trainers imparted training related to VVPAT/EVM and other election-related activities including documents, besides discussing duties and precautions to be observed by Presiding Officers.
