A devastating car accident occurred on Monday afternoon on the Khilani Marmat link road near the village of Dugga in Doda. The vehicle skidded off the road, plunging into a deep gorge, resulting in a tragic loss of life and injuries to another occupant.

Victim Identified, Another Injured

The deceased has been identified as Roshan Lal, son of Dina Nath, from Marmat. Additionally, Tanveer Ahmad, son of Fayaz Ullah, also from Marmat, sustained injuries in the accident. Tanveer Ahmad has been swiftly taken to GMC Jammu for medical treatment.

Police Initiates Investigation

Confirming the incident, a police official stated that they have initiated an investigation into the mishap to ascertain further details and determine the cause of the accident.
