Israeli Forces Open Fire on Vehicle in Qalandiya Refugee Camp
The Israeli military has reportedly fired on a car at the entrance to Qalandiya refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to Al Jazeera Arabic.
Local reports indicate that Israeli forces are preventing ambulance crews from reaching a person critically injured in the attack.
Earlier, the Israeli military had stated it was tracking a “terrorist” in Qalandiya, believed to be responsible for a shooting in the settlement of Eli, resulting in the death of two Israelis. It remains unclear whether these two incidents are related.
Additional reports highlight Israeli settlers attacking Palestinian homes with stones near the town of Jalud, southeast of Nablus, and raids in various locations across the occupied West Bank, including the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, the town of Jaba, the town of Hizma, the city of Salfit, and the towns of Urif and Asira al-Qibliya.
