
Central Bureau of Communication Empowers Ghat, Doda with “Swachhta Hi Seva 2023” Awareness Program.
Doda, September 30 – In a commendable stride towards championing cleanliness and hygiene, the Central Bureau of Communication, under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, orchestrated a meaningful “Swachhta Hi Seva” program at the Government Higher Secondary School in Ghat, Doda. This event was an integral part of the nationwide campaign, graced by the esteemed presence of Sh. Mohd. Ashraf Wani, District Information Officer, Doda, as the Chief Guest.

“Swachhta Hi Seva 2023” stands as a nationwide endeavor dedicated to cultivating awareness and responsibility concerning cleanliness and sanitation. The event held in Ghat, Doda, witnessed wholehearted involvement from the local community and students who actively participated in diverse activities aimed at fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.
Key figures from the academic sphere, including Vice Principal of GHSS Ghat, Sh. Tahir Ashraf Wani, and Senior Lecturer Sh. Bhushan Lal of GHSS Ghat, joined by Sh. Mohd. Ilyas Wani and Sh. Ramesh Kumar, lent their esteemed presence and served as resource persons. They shared their valuable insights and encouraged the participants to actively partake in cleanliness initiatives. These resource persons delivered expert lectures, shedding light on various aspects of cleanliness and hygiene, thereby educating the audience on best practices and the significance of maintaining a clean environment.
Sh. Vikram Uppal, Incharge of CBC Doda Circle, briefly highlighted the department’s pivotal role in facilitating communication between the government and the public. The Central Bureau of Communication remains steadfast in its commitment to bridge the gap between government initiatives and the citizens they serve. Their aim is to ensure that vital programs and campaigns, such as “Swachhta Hi Seva,” effectively reach every nook and cranny of society.
