Imran Khan, 71, is serving his sentence at the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. Both have also been convicted in the Toshakhana expensive gift case and the iddat case, which declared their marriage as un-Islamic.

Yousafzai claims that the party’s concerns are based on reports that Bushra was given harmful substances, causing intense pain and resembling acid in her food. The PTI accuses the Pakistani regime of maliciously attacking Imran Khan’s wife and denying her access to necessary medical aid.

Petition to Islamabad High Court:

Bushra Biwi has filed a petition with the Islamabad High Court on February 6, challenging the authorities’ decision to designate her residence as a sub-jail. She requests to be moved to Adiala Jail due to “potential security issues.” The legal coordinator and spokesperson for Bushra, Mashal Yousafzai, emphasized the urgency of a medical check-up for her, given the perceived serious threat to her life.

In a pinned post on PTI’s official handle, they express outrage over the conditions in which Bushra Biwi is kept, calling it a “gross injustice.” The party calls for intervention by higher courts, condemning what they see as the regime’s fear-driven and low tactics against the opposition leader’s family.
