2nd Round of Training for District-Level Master Trainers host in Doda
Doda, February 3: A significant step towards ensuring the seamless execution of the forthcoming elections in Doda district was marked by the completion of the specialized second training program for District-Level Master Trainers (DLMTs) conducted by SLMTs at the District Election Office. The primary objective of this training was to empower DLMTs with the requisite skills and knowledge to proficiently oversee the electoral process, guaranteeing transparency and efficiency during elections.
This training initiative aimed to augment the capabilities of DLMTs in crucial areas such as Nominations, Scrutiny, Withdrawal, MCC, MCMC, EVM/VVPAT, SVEEP activities, Polling procedures, security protocols, Result tabulation, etc. The sessions delved into significant subjects including electoral laws, ethical conduct, postal ballot procedures, TTBPs, and the integration of technology in election management. Discussions also encompassed district election management plans, vulnerability mapping, polling party arrangements, and poll day logistics.
The DLMTs actively participated in interactive workshops, simulation exercises, and practical demonstrations, gaining familiarity with the intricacies of election administration. The training emphasized best practices for conducting elections that are free and fair, maintaining electoral integrity, and addressing potential challenges during the electoral process.
Key figures during the training included SLMTs Mohd Ashraf Wani, Shalinder Singh, Gohar Hafeez Fani, along with DLMTs Akhtar Hussain, Nazir Ahmed, Mohd Irfan, Rizwan Ahmed, and Tahir Ashraf Wani, who all remained present throughout the sessions.
