GDC Kilhotran Marks 75th Republic Day with Zeal

In a display of enthusiasm and national spirit, GDC Kilhotran celebrated the 75th Republic Day with a flag hoisting ceremony. Dr. Javaid Iqbal Zargar, the Principal of the College, unfurled the tricolour and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Republic Day. He highlighted how this day symbolizes the culmination of India’s struggle for independence and the establishment of the constitutional framework.

Principal Stresses on Historical Importance

Dr. Zargar underlined the historical importance of Republic Day, marking the enforcement of India’s constitution after a prolonged struggle. He described it as a momentous occasion that ended the night of captivity. The Principal encouraged the people of Bhalessa to collaborate for the greater good, promoting national integration, communal harmony, and peace in the region.

Diverse Participation in Republic Day Celebration

The celebration witnessed active participation from students, NSS volunteers, and the college’s teaching and non-teaching staff. Dr. Mohd Aslam Rather, Dr. Tasir Sharief Per, Dr. Muddasir Nazar, and Prof. Zain Batt were among the dignitaries present. The event aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and unity among the participants, fostering a spirit of togetherness and national pride.
