Both Rhea and her brother, Showik Chakraborty, faced arrest by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to a drugs case related to Sushant. After spending a few months in custody, they were granted bail. Subsequently, the case was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which has been actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the actor’s death.

Following Sushant’s passing, his residence in Patna was transformed into a memorial, adorned with personal belongings such as his telescope, books, and guitar. Sushant made a mark in Bollywood with his debut in “Kai Po Che” and delivered notable performances in films like “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story” and “Chhichhore.” His final film, “Dil Bechara,” was released posthumously, leaving behind a lasting impact on his fans and the film industry.
