Drug peddlers arrested in baramulla j-k
On Thursday, law enforcement authorities apprehended two individuals involved in drug trafficking, seizing illicit substances from their possession in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
At a checkpoint established at Tyre Morh Uri, a police team from Uri intercepted an individual and discovered approximately 42 grams of a substance resembling Charas during a thorough search. The arrested individual, identified as Abdul Aziz Chaneeza, a resident of Uri Baramulla, was promptly taken into custody and transferred to the local Police Station.
In a parallel operation, another police team stationed in Tangmarg apprehended Mohammad Assadullah, a resident of Rambailpora Bawah Kunzer, at a checkpoint in Beighpora Hariwatnoo Tangmarg. Subsequent to a search, approximately 25 grams of a substance resembling Charas were confiscated from Assadullah’s possession.
Both individuals are now facing legal consequences as cases under the relevant sections of the law have been registered against them at their respective police stations. Investigations into the matter have been initiated to further delve into the circumstances surrounding the drug-related activities.
