iQoo Reveals Details of iQoo Watch Ahead of Launch: Features and Specs Unveiled
Ahead of its launch event on December 27, iQoo has teased details about the iQoo Watch, marking its first venture into the smartwatch segment with a circular AMOLED display.
Set to be unveiled alongside the iQoo Neo 9 series, the wearable introduces features such as Vivo’s BlueOS operating system, heart rate monitoring, and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracking. The device promises up to 16 days of battery life in Bluetooth mode.
The iQoo Watch, running on the BlueOS system developed by Vivo, is equipped with a range of health-centric features, including an SpO2 monitor, heart rate sensor, and calorie tracker.
This operating system, based on the Rust programming language and previously seen in the Vivo Watch 3, offers ten watch faces and an integrated app store.
Teasers on Weibo reveal a black strap variant of the iQoo Watch and showcase a side-mounted button for navigation through the user interface.
The design appears reminiscent of the Vivo Watch 3, presenting a circular AMOLED display, sleek black dial, and minimal bezels.
The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calling, enabling call reception through a paired smartphone. It touts a battery life of up to seven days in eSIM mode and an extended 16-day duration in Bluetooth mode.
The iQoo Watch, iQoo Neo 9, and iQoo Neo 9 Pro are scheduled for release in China on December 27 at 7:00 pm local time (4:30 pm IST).
The iQoo Neo 9 series features the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC in the base model and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in the Pro variant.
These devices are anticipated to make their way to India in January. Additionally, iQoo is set to launch its 1e TWS headset concurrently with the smartphones and smartwatch.
