    On Thursday, tragedy struck as militants ambushed two Army vehicles in the Thanmandi area of Rajouri district, resulting in the loss of three soldiers’ lives and leaving an equal number injured, according to official reports.

    As reported by KNO, an anti-militant operation had been underway in the Dera Ki Gali area of Thanamandi since the previous night. An official disclosed that the unfortunate incident occurred around 3:45 pm when terrorists launched an ambush on two army vehicles transporting troops to the operation site in Dera ki Gali, also known as DKG.

    Despite the troops retaliating with gunfire, the exchange resulted in the tragic demise of three soldiers, while three others sustained injuries. The official stated, “Operation is in progress, and further details are being ascertained.” The ongoing efforts aim to address the situation and bring clarity to the unfolding events in the area.
