Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Ashfaq Khanji, designated as the nodal officer, will oversee the seamless operations of the helicopter service. Global Vectra Pvt Ltd from Mumbai has been entrusted as the service provider to manage this critical transport link.

Speaking to the media, DC Doda underscored the paramount importance of the helicopter service, particularly for passengers requiring urgent or time-sensitive travel. This aerial option is poised to offer an efficient alternative to the arduous 180 km road journey, significantly cutting down travel time. Priced at an affordable 2500 per person under government subsidy, this service is set to become a readily accessible means of transportation for the public.
