Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated a statue of General Zorawar Singh at the University of Jammu today, paying homage to the revered warrior and military strategist on the anniversary of his martyrdom.

During the ceremony, Lt. Governor Sinha announced the government’s decision to establish a Chair at the University of Jammu in memory of General Zorawar Singh.

He emphasized that this initiative aims to inspire students and researchers to contribute to the realization of General Zorawar Singh’s vision for a strong and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
