India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, extended a cordial reception to his Malaysian counterpart, Zambry Abdul Kadir, setting the stage for the 6th Joint Commission meeting aimed at bolstering the Enhanced Strategic Partnership between the two nations. The Malaysian Foreign Minister’s inaugural trip to India, commencing on a Sunday evening and extending until November 8, signifies a concerted effort to reinforce the strategic alliance. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted the visit’s importance, projecting it as a step to deepen the ties in various sectors including political, defense, and economic domains.
