
Ramban Bus Accident Leaves Woman Dead, Several Injured; LG Manoj Sinha Expresses Grief
RAMBAN, Oct 3, 2026 (VoM News): A woman died and some other passengers were injured when a bus was involved in an accident in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
Those injured were shifted to hospital for treatment and more serious cases were referred to Government Medical College Jammu for further treatment.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed grief over the loss of lives. He has also expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family.
“The bus accident in Ramban, which claimed the life of one person, deeply saddened me. My heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased,” Sinha said.
He added that he spoke to Deputy Commissioner Ramban and directed to give the best possible treatment to the critically injured shifted to GMC Jammu.
He also prayed for their speedy recovery.
The circumstances of the accident and condition of the injured are still awaited.
