
Worker Found Dead at Under-Construction Site in JK’s Doda
A labourer working at the under-construction multilevel car parking site at the new bus stand in Doda town was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday morning.
Officials said the body of the deceased was recovered from the labourers’ residential quarters near the construction site.
The deceased, a resident of Odisha, was employed as a Wormias worker at the ongoing multilevel car parking project in Doda.

Soon after receiving the information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for post-mortem. A forensic team also visited the site and collected necessary samples.
Police said a case has been registered and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of death. “So far, no suspicion has been raised. The cause will be confirmed after the post-mortem report,” they added. (JKNS)
