A heartfelt farewell event took place on October 31st at the DC office complex in Doda. The purpose was to say a warm goodbye to the outgoing District Development Commissioner (DDC), Vishesh Mahajan.
Veshesh Mahajan was transferred to become the Deputy Commissioner in District Reasi, which is an important change in the district’s leadership.The farewell event was attended by the new DC, Harvinder Singh IAS, and other important officials, including SSP Doda Abdul QAYOOM, ADC Doda Ravi Kumar Bharti, ADDC Doda Pran Singh, and various district officers.During the farewell, Vishesh Mahajan showed his appreciation for the dedicated officers who served the district.

He also thanked the people of the district for maintaining harmony during tough times.Speakers at the event shared their experiences working with the outgoing Deputy Commissioner during his time in the district.
They praised his management and administrative skills, especially in handling crises and difficult situations.All the speakers at the event praised Vishesh Mahajan for his efforts in addressing the people’s concerns. Under his leadership, the district has seen significant improvements in areas like roads, education, and tourism.
As a token of honor, mementos were given to the outgoing DDC, and the SSP Doda also presented a memento to the outgoing DC as a sign of appreciation for their dedicated service.
