Village Defence Guard Found Dead in Doda
In the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Village Defence Guard (VDG) was discovered deceased in circumstances raising suspicion, according to officials on Friday.
As per reports from official sources cited by Kashmir Scroll, Balwant Singh, the son of Prem Nath and a resident of Kharangal Gandoh, was found dead under suspicious circumstances, with his service located near his body. In response to the incident, a police team promptly arrived at the scene and transported his body to a hospital for a postmortem examination. Concurrently, the police have initiated inquest proceedings to determine the cause of his demise.
