    On National Voter’s Day, AP Anshuman, the Additional Director General of Police for Law & Order in Uttarakhand, urged police officers to take an oath for conducting free, fair, and peaceful elections without any biases or influences.

    The call for commitment to impartial election processes was made at the police headquarters premises. Meanwhile, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy emphasized the importance of citizens casting their votes for the nation.

    National Voters’ Day is observed annually on January 25, marking the foundation day of the Election Commission of India.

    The Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, highlighted the role of technology in ensuring transparency in elections while addressing challenges like misinformation and artificial intelligence affecting electoral trust.
