Two Arrested for Shooting Two Men Amidst Land Dispute in Jammu
Authorities have apprehended two individuals following an incident where they allegedly opened fire on two others amid an ongoing land dispute in the RS Pura border belt of Jammu district, as reported on Friday.
The two victims, who sustained injuries during the altercation, have been admitted to a hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.The accused, accompanied by their relatives, confronted Vijay Kumar and Suresh Kumar from Rangpur Sidhriya and Satowali, who were attempting to gather fodder from a field in Filora village on Thursday evening.

Sources indicate that a heated exchange ensued, leading the accused to discharge firearms in a fit of anger, causing injuries to Vijay and Suresh.The wounded parties were promptly transported to a medical facility, where doctors have since stated that their condition is stable.
Law enforcement officials revealed that Tarseem and Onkar initially fled the scene after the incident but were subsequently apprehended. The search for a third suspect is ongoing.Tarseem Singh and Onkar Singh, along with others, are now facing charges related to attempted murder, violations of the Arms Act, and other relevant offenses.
Authorities have seized a pistol, a 12-bore gun, and a machete from the arrested individuals.
