NCC Senior Wing Enrollment Drive Successfully Conducted at GGM Science College Jammu

Jammu, July 24, 2026 [VoM News]: The NCC Senior Wing Enrollment Drive for the Academic Session 2026–2027 was successfully conducted at GGM Science College, Jammu, under the guidance of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, and under the supervision of 8 J&K Girls Battalion, NCC, Jammu.

The drive was coordinated by Lt (Dr.) Shafia Saleem, Associate NCC Officer (ANO). Around 50 enthusiastic students participated in the enrollment drive.

The selection process was conducted strictly in accordance with the NCC Directorate guidelines, assessing the candidates on the basis of merit, physical fitness, discipline, and overall potential to serve as NCC cadets.

The enrollment process reflected the enthusiasm, determination, and patriotic spirit of the aspiring cadets.

Despite the limited number of vacancies, the overwhelming participation highlighted the growing interest of students in joining the National Cadet Corps and embracing its core values of Unity and Discipline, leadership, and selfless service to the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and encouraged the selected cadets to uphold the ideals and values of the NCC with sincerity, discipline, and dedication.

The programme concluded with the selected NCC cadets taking the NCC Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to serve the nation with discipline and dedication.
