Trinamool Congress Leader Mahua Moitra Skips ED Summons in FEMA Case
TMC leader Mahua Moitra skipped the Directorate of Enforcement (ED)’s summons issued against her in connection with a foreign exchange contravention case.
The ED had asked her to appear on February 19 with documents related to foreign investments.
Moitra is being probed by the CBI, which is conducting a preliminary inquiry based on a Lokpal reference.
Accused of asking questions in Parliament to target the Adani Group at the behest of businessman Darshan Hiranandani, Moitra has denied wrongdoing and claims she is being targeted.
