The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 began on June 2 in the USA and West Indies, marking the ninth edition since its inception in 2009. This year, a record 20 teams will compete, divided into four groups of five for the group stage, with each team facing off against every other team in their group once.
This tournament provides the best men’s cricketers in the world the opportunity to showcase their skills and represent their nations. They will be looking to win their first T20 World Cup title since the inaugural edition in 2007 in South Africa.
